Newark---Marian F. Pruner, 84, died Thursday (July 17, 2008) at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

Funeral Services for Marian will be at 11 AM on Monday (July 21, 2008 at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark with Rev. Arthur Sziemeister officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Lyons.

Mrs. Pruner was born on April 11, 1924 in Buffalo the daughter of Albert and Pauline Kehnel Schroeder. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Lyons. For nearly twenty years, Marian had worked in the housekeeping department at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

She is survived by two sisters Sophia (Albert) Belcher and Alice (William) McAlpine of Buffalo, several nieces and nephews. Marian is predeceased by her husband Charles M. in 1990 and her daughter Joyce Hagebock in 2001.
