Mark E. Wirth

Clyde/Newark –Mark E. Wirth, 56, died Monday (December 27, 2010) at Strong Memorial Hospital.

            Friends may call on Saturday (January 8th) from 11:00 am until noon at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller St. in Newark.  A funeral service will follow the calling hours at noon.     Memorials, in Mark’s name, may be made to the Clyde Fire Department, 15 Ford St., Clyde NY 14433.

          Mr. Wirth was born on November 22, 1954 in Panama City, Florida, the son of Robert and Mildred Hatter Wirth.  He had worked for International Paper and was a shift foreman at Guardian Industries. He was a partner of Power Generation and Industrial Machines, Inc. in Bridgeport, NY.

          Mark is survived by his life partner Stephanye Durling, a son Jason and two daughters Caitlin and Amanda Wirth of Geneva, father Robert Wirth of Newark, a brother Matthew and a sister Vicky Wirth of Newark. 

          He was predeceased by his mother Mildred Wirth.
