Mary M. Charlebois

Newark-Mary M. Charlebois, 74, passed on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Newark Wayne Community Hospital.

Friends are in invited to call on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 4-7 PM at Paul L. Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St., Newark, NY. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

Memorials, in her name, may be made to Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Rd., Lyons, NY 14489. 

 Mary was born in Newark, on October 4, 1949, the daughter of the late Robert and Madeline Wiebeld Collins. Mary graduated from Newark Senior High School, Class of 1967. For many years, she worked as data processor at Newark Wayne Community Hospital. She previously had worked for P&C Grocery Stores and at Sarah Coventry. In her retirement she worked at Wal-Mart.

 She is survived by her daughter Betsy (Jose) Rodriguez; two grandchildren Megan and Jacob Rodriguez; one great grandson Coleson J. Hayes; four sisters Patti DeJohn, Cathy Nolan, Karen Medoro, and Susan Bailey; a brother Stephen (Tracy) Collins. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother David Collins.
