Newark---- Mary Jane (Mack) Healy, 92, died on 11/19/23. Born March 29, 1931 to Cornelius M. and Rosella K. Mack in Shortsville, N.Y. Mary Jane graduated from Shortsville High School, attended The University of Rochester, married Thomas Healy Jr. and moved to Newark in 1952.

She was an avid reader, particularly of military history. She was very involved in and dedicated to political causes. She was a member of both the Arcadia and Wayne County Democratic Committees, as well as a Representative to the N.Y. State Democratic Committee.

She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Jr., and her brother, Richard Mack. She is survived by her beloved sons, Michael of Sodus Point, Honorable Richard (Lori) of Newark, John (In Hui) of the U.S. Territory of Guam, Thomas III of South Bend, Ind. and James of Guam; adored grandchildren William, Conor (Allie), Mary Kate and Emma Healy; daughter-in-law Eileen Healy, sister-in-law Lorraine Healy, cousin Alice Tracey Wolff, beloved niece Susie Mack and several other nieces and nephews.

At the request of the deceased, a private memorial will be held at the convenience of her family.
