Newark"Mary A. Santino, 96, died on Wednesday (September 14, 2005) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

Friends may call from 11:30 AM to 1 PM on Saturday (Sept. 17th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM on Saturday (Sept. 17th) at St. Michael's Church with Rev. Peter Clifford officiating. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

Mrs. Santino was born in Newark on August 3, 1909, the daughter of Ralph and Marie Santelli Ruffalo. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Church.

She is survived by a daughter Theresa Alves of Honeoye, two sons, Joseph Sr. (Linda) and Nicholas (Faye) of Newark, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, best friend Bella, several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her son-in-law Raymond Alves, brother Frank Ruffalo, five sisters Virginia Moyer, Anna Iacco, Josephine Ursano, Mildred Moyer and Rose Sapp
