Myrtle Ernst

Rochester--- Myrtle D. Ernst, 80, of Rochester formerly of Newark died on Friday (March 11, 2005) at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Ernst was born in Newark on July 16, 1924, the daughter of Herman and Mary DeVuyst Cook. For many years, she was a bookkeeper with the Burrough's Corp. in Rochester. Myrtle loved to dance and was active until recently with the Arthur Murray Dance Studio.

Survived by nieces Sue (Allan) Faro of Webster, Joan (Frank) Krov and Moira (Ronald) Ankner both of NJ. She was predeceased by her husband Earl V. Ernst in 1986.

Friends may call on Saturday (March 19th) from 12-1 PM at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark, New York. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM at the funeral home with burial in the Newark Cemetery. Memorials in her name may be made to the Humane Society.
