Newark"Nancy L. Sproul, 62, died (January 20, 2005) at her home on Linden Avenue.

Friends may call Sunday (Jan. 23rd) from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. on Monday (Jan. 24th) at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, South Main Street, Newark with Rev. Carmen Rae Seufert officiating. Burial will be in East Newark Cemetery.

Nancy was born on May 27, 1942, in Newark the daughter of Dr. Leon and Lillian Walters Westfall. She was a registered nurse, having graduated in 1963 from the Genesee School of Nursing in Rochester. For 30 years, Nancy was a nurse with the Newark School District where she had worked at several school buildings but primarily at the high school. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Sproul is survived by her husband of 41 years, Gary L., three children Stephen (Kristen) of Macedon, Laura (John) Bouwens of Newark and Matthew (fiancee Khris Woods) of Canandaigua; four grandchildren Joshua and Anna Bouwens, and Brandon and Madison Sproul; two sisters Joan (Alan) St. George of Cleveland, OH and Judith (Ben) Lynch of Horseheads, NY, a brother James (Sally) Westfall of Newark; several nieces and nephews and a family friend Sherri Jakobovic of Geneva.
