Shortsville—Nancy, 59, died Sunday (August 9, 2009) at her home in the Town of Manchester.        

          A Celebration of Nancy’s life will held for her family and friends at their convenience.

          In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name, may be made to the Hope Lodge, 197 Summer Street, Buffalo, New York 14222 or to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, PO Box 631, Buffalo, New York 14240.

          Mrs. Lents was born on December 4, 1949 in Roswell, New Mexico, the daughter of Walter and Arbie Burnnett Dean.  She was a mail clerk at the Main Post Office in Henrietta for twenty five years, retiring in 2008

          Nancy survived by her daughter Amanda Lents of Shortsville and a son John Lents IV (fiancée Sarah Aldrich)  of Fairport, a sister Sherry Dean of San Diego, California.
