Newark"Nancy Packer, 52, died Saturday (August 5, 2006) at the Blossom View Nursing Home in Sodus.

Friends may call from 2-5 PM on Monday (August 7, 2006) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark where the funeral services will follow at 5 PM. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Elmira.

Nancy was born in Elmira, on March 3, 1954, the daughter of Ronald and Ruth Kennedy Packer. She was a long time resident of Newark. Nancy touched many lives with her loving ways and great sense of humor.

She is survived by her mother Ruth Packer of Elmira, sisters Vicki Packer of Elmira and Pamela Kamp of Raleigh, NC, and her many caretakers and friends at ARC.
