Newark"Nellie M. De Blaere, 97, died on Thursday (December 1, 2005) at her home in Port Richey Florida.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Thursday (Dec. 8th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 10 AM on Friday (Dec. 9th), with Rev. Steven Matteson officiating. Burial will be in the Newark Cemetery.

Mrs. De Blaere was born on January 4, 1908, in Ontario, New York the daughter of Jacob and Carrie Johnville Keukelaar. She operated a muck farm with her late husband Maurice until his death in 1957. Nellie then sold real estate in Newark until her retirement, at which time she moved to Florida.

She is survived by nieces and nephews Janet DeBurk of Williamson, Judy (Joseph) Peters of Newark, Susan (Roger) Miller of N. Rose, Kathy (John) Dibert of Palmyra and Patty (Hugh) Thorne of Newark; sister-in-law Edna Chatfield of Newark, Loving friends and care givers Julie and Vincent Bucholz of Port Richey.
