Greece/Newark"Onnalee P. Wheaton, 90, died Saturday (May 26, 2007) at the Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons.

Private services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in White Haven Memorial Park.

Memorials in her name may be made to the Finger Lakes Hematology & Oncology Center, 6 Ambulance Drive, Clifton Springs, New York 14432.

Mrs. Wheaton was born in Rushville, July 10, 1916, the daughter of Earl and Mabel Stark Powers. She was a secretary at the Jackson Perkins Nursery and the Parker Furniture Store both in Newark. She had been a member of the Amite Chapter of the Easter Star.

She is survived by two sons John (Elaine) of Orlando, Fl. and Dick (Valerie) Of Wesley Chapel, Fl. four grandchildren Richard II, Melissa, David and Christine and seven great grandchildren. Onnalee was predeceased by her husband Damon in 2001 and a brother Leland Powers.
