Newark –Patricia Wheaton, 63, died Tuesday (February 9, 2010) at the Pines of Peace in Ontario.

  Friends may call from-12 to 1 PM on Thursday (February 11th) at the Paul L. Murphy& Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark with funeral services following at 1 PM with Rev. Tim Norris officiating.  Burial will be in East Palmyra Cemetery.         

  She was born on April 27, 1946, in Sodus the daughter of the late Clayton and Mary Hammond Wheaton.    A social butterfly, Patty enjoyed her family and friends and brought happiness to all who knew her.  She loved the Buffalo Bills and her blueberry pancakes.

  She is survived by a sister June Abrams of Williamson, a brother James (Marion) Wheaton of Palmyra, a special niece Mary Abrams of Walworth, several other nieces and nephews and many friends at 101 Cobblestone Terrace.  Patty is predeceased by two sisters Doryce Ippolito and Elizabeth Wheaton.
