Paul A. Anderson
Palmyra/Newark ---Paul A. Anderson, 61, died Thursday (March 21, 2013) as a result of an automobile accident in Macedon.
Friends may call from 2-5 P.M. on Sunday (March 24st) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. on Monday (March 25th) at the Port Gibson United Methodist Church with Pastor Mary Rublee officiating. Burial will be in Port Gibson Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials, in his name, may be made to the Port Gibson United Methodist Church, Port Gibson, New York 14537.
Mr. Anderson was born April 1, 1951, in Jamestown, New York the son of the late Joseph and Elsie Warner Anderson. He graduated from Maple Grove Bemus Point High School in 1969 and earned an associate’s degree in Agriculture Business from Alfred Tech in 1971. Paul was a crop manager at Willow Bend Farms in Clifton Springs for the past 30 years. He was a member of the Ontario County Farm Bureau. Paul was a member of the Port Gibson United Methodist Church where he was a trustee, sang in the choir and was the potato masher at the church dinners. Paul was an a classic car enthusiast, an avid bowler and loved to go camping.
Paul is survived by his wife Nancy; two daughters Paula (Joel) Freeman of Walworth, Marci (Bobby) Ng of Macedon and a son Aaron (Ellen) of Hagerstown, MD; six grandchildren Abby and Lillian Freeman, Max and Ella Ng, Caleb and Henry Anderson; four siblings Faye Stebbins of Jamestown, Tom ( Carolyn) of Prattsburg, Gayle Smith of CA, and Skip of Jamestown; several nieces and nephews..
