 Newark—Petrina Theresa Housecamp, 84, died Thursday (May 12, 2016) at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

 Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Monday (May 16th)) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday (May 17^th) at St. Michael Church, South Main Street, Newark. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

 Memorials, in her name, may be made to either St. Michael's Church, 401 South Main Street, Newark, New York 14513 or the Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, New York 14489.

 Mrs. Housecamp was born on June 3, 1931, in Rochester, the daughter of the late Samuel J. and Mary Minardo Prinzi. She graduated from Newark High School in 1949. Petrina was a communiant of St. Michael Church and had been a member of the Rosary and Alter Society. For several years, she was a teacher's aide at St. Michael's School and then was the secretary and bookkeeper at St. Michael's Church for over twenty years.

Petrina is survived by her daughter Elaine Housecamp and son David Housecamp both of Newark;two grandchildren Emily (Sean)Pelkowski and Mary(Fiance Eric Hendrickson) Housecamp; two great- grandchildren Charlotte and Julia Pelkowski; a brother James (Sharon)Prinzi of Newark. She was predeceased by her husband Richard J. Housecamp in 1984.
