Newark— Raechelle Justine Moon, 21, died Thursday (August 27, 2009).

          Family and friends may call from 5-8 P.M. on Sunday (August 30^th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark.  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday (August 31^th) at the funeral home with Rev. John Smith officiating.  Burial will be in East Newark Cemetery.

          Raechelle was born December 26, 1987 in Newark, the daughter of Laurie Moon and Michael Means.  She graduated in 2006 from Newark High School.  Raechelle had been a waitress at Pizza Hut in Newark and was currently employed at the Center for Disability Rights in Geneva.  She was a member of the New Hope Bible Church.

          She is survived by her mother Laurie Wheaton and father Michael (Lora) Means, sons Christopher and his father Michael DeJohn and Brandon Moon and his father Shawn Carney, sisters Alissa Wheaton, Brianna Moon and brother Ryan Pulver, grandfather Paul (Mary) Moon of Newark, grandmother Jean Lansberry of Manchester,  grandfather David (Susan) Means of Trumansburg  and grandmother Rose Malone of Marion, Great Grandmother June Moon Oswick, Aunts Joanne Heveron,Tina Moran and Stephanie Means, special friend Levi Russell, several cousin and many friends who loved her.
