Palmyra/Red Creek"Robert D. Coppernoll, 81, died Friday (May 25, 2007) at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Bath National Cemetery

Mr. Coppernoll was born in Niagara Falls, New York, on January 17, 1926, the son of Reginald and Bessie Shaw Coppernoll. He owned and operated a farm in the Red Creek area, retiring in 1975. Bob served with the US Navy as an Aviation Electronic Technician during World War II in the Pacific Theater and again during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by a brother Bruce and wife Patricia Coppernoll of Marietta, Ohio, a niece Susan and husband David Cordero of Rego Park, New York and four nephews.
