Newark"Robert H. Krueger, Jr., 44, died on Monday (July 9, 2007). Friends may call on Wednesday (July 11th) from 4 " 7 PM at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Thursday (July 12th) at the funeral home with Rev. Roger Smith officiating Burial will be in East Newark Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Bob's memory to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 4, PO Box 998, Canandaigua, New York 14424.

Mr. Krueger was born on October 8, 1962 in Waterloo, New York, the son of Robert H. and C. Grace Brown Krueger. A life long resident of Newark, Bob was a graduate of Newark High School, Class of 1980. He loved baseball and was a pitcher while attending Fredonia State University. He also pitched for the Mid-Altantic Region Semi-Pro League in Virginia and was honored with the Most Valued Player award one year. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Bob had served in the US Army. He was an active volunteer at the Canandaigua Veterans Hospital and the Commander of the DAV Chapter 4 in Canandaigua.

He is survived by his parents Bob and Grace Krueger of Newark, brother Tom of Newnan, GA, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
