Newark—Robert Howard Krueger, 78, passed away on Saturday (October 22, 2016) at the Ewing Center of Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, New York.
Friends may call from 10:30 AM to 12 PM on Thursday (October 27th) with a service following at noon at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Burial will follow the service at East Newark Cemetery.

Bob was born September 15, 1938 in Lyons, New York, son of Howard and Mabel Kaiser Krueger. Upon graduating from Clyde Central School in 1956, he enlisted in the US Marine Corp. For 33 years, Bob was employed by the NYS Thruway Authority Canal Division. In his younger years, Bob was a volunteerr fireman for the Newark Fire Department. He also coached Little League and Vince Lombardi Youth Football. He was a member of the Newark Elks Lodge for 49 years. During his retirement years, he enjoyed camping and spending winters in central Florida.
Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn Grace (Brown); his son Thomas of Newnan, Ga; his brother James (Barbara) Krueger of Newark; sister Linda Bray (Frank Breisch) of Newark; brothers-in-laws Doug (Joan) Brown of GA. and Kenneth (Marylou) Brown of NJ; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Robert H. Krueger, Jr. in 2007.
