East Palmyra---Robert Lewis Blair, 78, died on Thursday (August 7, 2008), at the DeMay Living Center in Newark.
Friends may call from 4-5 PM on Friday (August 15th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark where funeral services will follow at 5 PM.

Mr. Blair was born in Canandaigua, on May 20, 1930, the son of Raymond and Hazel Allen Blair. He graduated from the Canandaigua Academy in 1949. He had worked for Margrove Dairy and retired in 1990 from Mobil Chemical where he had worked as a lift truck operator for 18 years. Bob was a member of the East Palmyra Presbyterian Church and the Canandaigua Kiwanis Club. Known as "The Dominoes King", he loved to play the game and taught everyone he could to play it with him. Bob also enjoyed many card games and bowling. He had been an avid outdoors sportsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and golf.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sonja, children Patricia Busby, Deborah Weitzel, Robert (Pamela), Mary (Roger) Soucie, Michael (Karen), Augustus (Tanja), Mark (Sharon) Morganti, Jan Morganti, Kim Morganti, fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren; sister-in-laws Marilyn (Grant) Fletcher,Nancy Blair and Joy Blair, several nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his first wife Emma Boop Blair in 1971, a grandson Eric Weitzel in 2007, two brothers Francis and Raymond "Ted". .
