Newark"Ruth L. Colf, 81, of Sandhill Rd., died Sunday (July 10, 2005) at Newark Wayne Community Hospital.

Friends may call from 2-4 PM on Wednesday (July 13th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark where funeral services will follow at 4 with Rev. Lynn Sinnott officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua.

Mrs. Colf was born in Victor on December 4, 1923 the daughter of George and Mae McAllister Hodge. Ruth retired in 1983, from Mobil Chemical where she worked for over 30 yrs. She was a member of the Zion Episcopal Church in Palmyra.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth B.; two daughters Patricia (Donald) Barcomb of Newark, Nancy (Stuart) Wood of Walworth, three grandchildren William (Kerri) Barcomb, Madeleine and Elliot Wood, and several nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her son Donald in 1962, her grandson Brian Barcomb in 2004, and her brother and sisters.
