Newark"Ruth L. Tellier, 75, died Tuesday (November 7, 2006) at the DeMay Living Center.

Friends may call from 4-6 P.M. on Thursday (November 9, 2006) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. on Friday (November 10, 2006) at the funeral home with Rev. William Crowder officiating. Burial will be in Fairville Cemetery.

Mrs. Tellier was born on April 14, 1931, in the Town of Arcadia, the daughter of Clayton and Elizabeth VanLare Miller. She had been employed at Garlock, Inc., the Newark Home Dairy and retired from the Newark Central School District where she worked in the cafeteria. In her retirement, she worked for McDonald's in Newark. She was a member of the August Mauer Post Auxiliary, the Arcadia Memorial Post VFW Auxiliary and the Newark Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Ruth is survived by a stepson Dennnis (Sandy) Tellier of Newark, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister Bertha Stell of Newark. She was predeceased by her husband Edward, stepson Edward, a sister Alice Norsen and brother Ralph Miller.
