Newark"Ruth L. Worden, 79, of Plain Street died Sunday (October 29, 2006) at the Geneva General Hospital.

Friends may call 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Wednesday (Nov. 1st) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St., Newark. Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM on Thursday (Nov 2nd) at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Sohn-Alloway Road, Lyons. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery. Memorials in her name may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Mrs. Worden was born on August 12, 1927 in Rochester the daughter of Lee and Lona Trump Harris. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lyons.

Survived by her husband of 60 years, Chester; daughters Mary (Gary) Coleman of Palmyra, Susan (Arthur) Buffum of Rochester, a son Chester Jr. (Marilyne) of Niagara Falls; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a sister Lena (Donald) Erskine of Almond; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters Bertha Smith and Ann Long
