Newark"Sandra Castle, 51, better known as "Sam Rose", died Monday (August 21, 2007) at Rochester General Hospital.

Friends may call on Saturday (August 25th) from 1 " 3 PM at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be followed at 3 PM at the funeral home.

Sandra was born on February 29, 1956 in Rochester, New York, the daughter of Leonard and Barbara Rose Gessin.

She is survived by her father and stepmother Leonard and Barbara Gessin of Honeoye, companion David Hanselman of Newark, good friend Cindy Napoleon, and several siblings. She loved all animals and at one time was a dog trainer.
