Sarah Everett Tyler Pitzeruse
Newark---Sarah Everett Tyler Pitzeruse, 86, died on Wednesday (March 11, 2015) at the DeMay Living Center. Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. on Saturday (March 14th) at the Paul L. Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller St. in Newark. Burial and Funeral services will be at the South Lyons Cemetery in the Spring.

Mrs. Pitzerusewas born on July 8, 1928 in Palmyra, the daughter of the late Clarence and Clara Belle Philly Everett. Sarah worked in the Boys Hospital at the Newark State School as an aide for many years. She went on to become a Home Health Aide and a bartender at the Iroquois Hotel in Lyons. In retirement Sarah volunteered for 15 years at the Lyons Head Start as a foster grandparent. Mrs. Pitzeruse was a life member of the Lyons Rod and Gun Club and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion Post # 227 in Lyons.
Sarah is survived by seven children four sons, David (Heather) Tyler of Lyons, Randy (Donna) Tyler of Waterloo, Terrance (Linda) Tyler of Newark, Stephen (MariAnn) Tyler of Newark, three daughters Sharon (Larry Lewis) Confer of Lyons, Deborah Tyler of Newark, Donna (Fred) Kasulis of Newark, on step son Larry (Carol) Pitzeruse of Lyons, 21 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren and a sister in law Fran Everett of Florida. She is predeceased by a step son James Pitzeruse and two brothers.
