Newark"Shirley (Robinson) Arbogast, 71, of Brumm Road, went to join her husband on November 17, 2005.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Sunday (Nov. 20th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Monday (Nov. 21th) at 11 AM, with Rev. Jack Bailey officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Lyons.

Memorials in her name may be made to the Finger Lakes Oncology Center, 6 Ambulance Drive, Clifton Springs, NY 14432 or the House of John, 14 Spring Street, Clifton Springs, NY 14432.

Mrs. Arbogast was born on July 5, 1934, in Lyons the youngest of five children of Charles and Pearl Oakleaf Robinson. She was a 1952 graduate of Lyons High School. After her graduation, Shirley worked in the office of Wayne Drug Company, until it closed in 1992. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lyons, a charter Member of Marbletown Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Past President of Wayne County Fire Association Auxiliary and a life member of the Lyons Rod and Gun Club. Shirley enjoyed camping, fishing and to travel.

Shirley is survived by two sons William (Sandy) and David (Jodi) Arbogast, a daughter Pamela (Doug) Townsend all of Newark; four grandchildren Brian, Sarah, Dori Arbogast andChelsea Townsend, several nieces and nephews and brother and sister-in-laws. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 44 years Claude, who passed away on Dec. 10, 2000, brothers William, Clifford "Scoop" and Howard "Pete" Robinson, a sister Mildred Zeger and a grandson Michael Arbogast.
