Susan Levan

Susan Patricia LeVan died Dec. 23, 2020, at Clifton Springs Hospital after a long and tenacious battle with cancer. 

Born Aug. 2, 1957, in Springfield, MA, Susan mainly spent her adult life in upstate New York, as well as Holland, MA. She made her career working for CVS. Prior to CVS, Susan owned a restaurant near Varysburg called the Shamrock Cafe. Susan loved camping in Cuba, NY, and in the Adirondack Mountains. She adored her granddaughters, Amelia and Jocelyne Dolejsi. She was also a devoted feeder of birds, collector of candles, and reader of Stephen King novels. After the death of her husband Steven Craig LeVan, in 2013, Susan found joy spending time outdoors with Daniel Bebout, her partner who cared for her throughout her final years.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother Mary Cecilia (Lynch) Yarger, and her father, Edward J. Yarger. She is survived by her daughter Kelly Dolejsi (husband Michael), her granddaughters, and her brother Richard Yarger (wife Linda). Please contact [email protected]for funeral information.
