Newark ---Vincenza Ann Conway, 86, died Sunday (March 17, 2013) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

             Father Felix Dalimpuo will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday (March 20^th) at St. Michael Church, South Main Street, Newark.  Burial will be on Thursday in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, New York.

            Mrs. Conway was born on June 11, 1926 in Bronx, New York, the daughter of Alexander and Frances Rivetta Papa.  She moved to Newark in May of 2003 from Larchmont, New York where she had lived for many years.  She retired in 2001, after 24 years of service as a crossing guard in Larchmont.  She also had been a Matron for the Village of Larchmont Police Department.  Vincenza had been a communicant of St Augustine Catholic Church in Larchmont and is now a communicant of St. Michael Church in Newark.

            She is survived by her daughter Patricia Laurich of Newark, three grandchildren Jonathan, Allison and Hunter Laurich, a sister Rose Muoio of Newark, many nieces and nephews.  Vincenza was predeceased by her husband Donald W. Conway in 1990; a sister Marie Cicchetti; four brothers Vincent, Edward, Albert and Alexander Papa.
