Newark/East Rochester—Wayne A. Lausin, died Saturday (November 10, 2018) at his home in Newark.

Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. on Thursday  (November 15th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday (November16th) at St. Michael Church, South Main Street, Newark.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that you make a  memorial contribution to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, New York 14620.

Wayne was born in Rochester, the son of the late Frank and Mildred McCarthy Lausin.  He was a graduate of East Rochester High School and St. Lawrence University where he majored in Business.  Wayne served his country for two years in the US Army.  He was a Manufactures Representative retiring in 2014.

Wayne is survived by his wife Gwen, three children, Mary Beth, Kevin and Timothy; four stepchildren Renee, Shane, Candace and Tracy; eleven grandchildren Cole, William, Nicholas, Ryan, Michael, Elizabeth, Taylor, Julia, Arley, Mallory and McKenzie; a sister Carol, brother John (Margaret); a sister-in-law Carole; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers Gerald and Thomas.
