Newark"Wilhelmina L. Sturm, 93, died Friday (March 24, 2006) at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

Friends may call on 2-4 PM on Tuesday (March 28th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Father Peter Clifford will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM, on Wednesday (March 29th) at St. Michael's Church. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery.

Memorials in her name may be made to St. Michael Church, 401 South Main Street, Newark, New York 14513.

Mrs. Sturm was born on October 20, 1912 in Biervliet, Holland, the daughter of Pieter and Maria van Pamelen de Vos. She lived in the Marion and Newark areas after coming to this country in 1950. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Church and a member of the Newark Senior Citizens.

She is survived by her daughter Maria Henderson of Florida, granddaughter Stephanie (David) Sellers, grandson Mark (Angelia) Reid, three great grandchildren and a sister Maria van Renterghem of the Netherlands. She was predeceased by her husband Clemens in 1993 and her brother Abraham.
